5 Easy Steps to Sales Success
Now that I have your attention, the title of this article is total BS. There’s nothing easy about being consistently good at sales over a long period of time. There are no “5 easy steps.” There aren’t even “5 hard” steps to sales success. To be successful at sales- anything really- requires an on-going dedication and commitment to one’s craft.
I recently saw an article, “3 Easy Tricks to Master the Art of Public Speaking.” Are you kidding me? How many people on the planet have truly mastered public speaking? The best are always working on their craft knowing there’s room for improvement.
To be really good at sales and to know why and how you are good, requires a high level of self-awareness, and a deep understanding and application of the psychology, tactics and strategy of sales. There’s nothing “easy” about it. Yes, it may come easier to some due to innate attributes but it isn’t easy.

As the old saying goes, “if it were easy, everyone would do it.”
